It varies depending on the mechanism used by the gas fire. Therefore, the above figures are not absolute standards.
- How to check the pre-heat level of your cookware.
This is how you check the temperature of the pre-heated cookware.
Open the lid of the cookware that has been pre-heated to medium heat setting and drop a small amount of water. If it evaporates slowly with the sound then it is still at warm-up state, but if the round droplet is quickly spreading then preheating is finished. Do not miss the cover and wait when steam is rising.
- Cook the healthier food with steaming.
Steaming can reduce cooking time and accelerate the cooking process.
If cookware overheated, the steam comes up with a white border on the lid & not efficient.
If the heat is too low, steam will easily condense and form droplets from the lid.
The best is to use (Medium Heat).
